Lydia was an injured girl living on the streets. She was very scared and it took many days before someone could gain her trust enough to catch her. Her back leg was injured and she was limping badly when found in early 2020.
Lydia was born approximately November 2018, she is a Setter Cross, medium in size. She has a pretty cream, thick coat with brown spots and highlights. She is a happy girl who loves to smile! ALWAYS smiling!
Lydia is good with the other resident dogs and cats too as she is now in foster with our wonderful Tracey and Alan, whom she adores of course. She is a very sociable girl who loves her fuss and cuddles, a far cry from the injured, scared girl no-one could get close too. Loves to go for walks and comes when called. Enjoys her trips out in the car!
Lydia has been examined by a specialist vet on mainland Greece on 01.02.21 with regards to her leg. It has improved since she was first rescued but if she has been running or is tired she will still hold it up. It is her back right leg. They have confirmed that she is in no pain and, as this is an old injury, there is nothing they can do to improve it now. As she is in no pain it has been advised to leave well alone and so now she can go up for adoption.
Lydia is fully vaccinated, blood tested clear and been sterilised. She is ready to find her special home.
