Pixie was found as a small pup along with his brother Shep by an elderly gentleman. They were all alone so he took them home and cared for them. Sadly the man passed away late last year and poor Pixie became homeless. He was being cared for by a neighbour but he needed his home asap as he has to be kept on a chain as he would wander off and other neighbors were complaining about him and wanted him to be removed. For his safety we moved him to a foster home in the UK.
Pixie was born approx October 2017 he is a Collie mix. His coat is beautiful, white and black, thick and wavy. He is a Gorgeous boy always smiling and happy! Pixie is good with other dogs so much so he needs to be homed with another dog or two. He loves to be fussed bless him, and cuddled as you can see!! He will be ok with older children. He currently lives with a cat and chickens. Pixie would need someone at home most of the day as he loves to be with people. He was left all lone 24/7 for weeks and so we feel it is not fair for him to be left alone for more than a couple of hours now. Pixie is highly intelligent and so eager to please
This is what his foster mum has to say.
“He is a beautiful dog with the kindest nature. Pixie has settled well although is still nervous at times. He seems fine around all animals (even hedgehogs!). He shows no aggression towards our 3 legged cat even though I can’t say the same about the cat who is not happy to share his home with Pixie at all! He wants to play and loves to be around other dogs so ideally would be happiest with other dogs. He has been to the groomers and is looking mighty fine. He loves to be out doors and also loves to sleep on sofas (he is not fussy which one )”
