Panos – In UK Foster
This dog has been adopted, look on our available dogs page for many more looking for a forever home...
Panos is a small black and white neutered Brittany spaniel or Brittany Spaniel mix (with a tail !) Currently in Foster in the UK Kings Lynn area.
He turned up begging for food from tourists at a pool bar in Zante, a remote hotel in the mountains. Locals said he had been wandering around the village for several months and had most probably been abandoned in the mountains. He was skinny and starving. Luckily for him one of the staff there took him in until Sue could take him.
Panos is naturally exuberant, lively but fabulous and has settled in the home and friendly to adults, other dogs of all sizes and children.
He is chipped and fully up to date with vaccinations etc.
The Greek and UK vets who have seen him estimate him to be between 2 and 3 years old and he is generally in very good condition.
He is just learning to walk on a lead and still pulls on the lead slightly but as he is only 15Kg this is manageable; but you can also get him to stop with effort (until the next really interesting smell!)
Panos can be left at home for a few hours at a time but will need a secure garden.
He travels well in the car and loves to play with all his doggy friends at his foster home.
He loves his long walks and returns well in a fenced field.
He has been extremely easy to house train and has had no accidents in his Foster Home , following the other dogs out in the garden to toilet.
Panos really is the most adorable and gentle love pup. He is a wonderful dog. At the end of the day he likes nothing more than being stroked and typical of the breed he is extremely loyal, attaching himself to the people who show him love and kindness and rewarding them with his total undivided love and attention!
He would fit in with any family but really would enjoy the company of another dog or dogs. As with all adult dogs and no history we request no young children please.
