This is Alexis who was spotted with her two siblings by a lady out walking her dogs, in the olive groves miles away from any houses. One of our volunteers went back to catch them and although she caught Alexis and Peewee, Womble remained allusive for 3 days.
Alexis was born approximately end of Nov 2019 / Beginning of Dec 2019 .and will stay small although she is the largest of her siblings. She is a stunning blond with small brown eyes
Alexis is lovely and friendly and has such an amazing happy nature. She was so protective of Peewee during those first few days of being rescued. She would sleep with her paws around him. Always his protector
Alexis sadly had the hardest time of all as she came down with hepatitis and it was touch and go whether she would make it or not. Thankfully her foster parents spotted something was wrong very quickly and she was taken too the vets for treatment. She spent a few days not eating and everyone was worried. Thankfully after about a week she was allowed home but had to be isolated from all the other puppies. After all she had been through this was so sad for her but at least she survived !
She is fantastic on the lead in the garden so being on a lead on walks until she has gained confidence shouldn’t be a problem.
Alexis lives with many other puppies and cats so is very sociable with all
